Yesterday at faculty meeting Jeff briefly mentioned the report of the New Commission on the Skills of the American Workforce -- "Tough Choices or Tough Times." Blogging at Oakmont

I hope my presentation at yesterday's Faculty meeting was helpful. Let me again say that I'm not an expert in blogging by any means, but I'm trying to figure it all out at least to the point that it can be an effective and useful medium for us at Oakmont. Please let me know if I can help you out an any way.

Also, I do hope you all will read through the "Recent Acquisitions" post, and comment as you're so inclined. Choosing materials for the library collection is one of the things that I think is most important about what I do here, and I hope you will find things that you and your students can and will use.
